Comment: I've missed Tara throughout this year. She was the most compassionate character, quiet, strong, adorable, sweet, steadfast, soulful. I miss her subtle humor, her undying support for Willow, and her emotional smarts. I actually have had recurring dreams in which I'm Tara living in Sunnydale with the rest of the gang. She touched me on many levels, and in many ways I feel she was both a reflection of aspect of me and a representation of the type of person to whom I feel drawn. Safe journeys, Tara.

Comment: My other msg was a little too long. I wanted to end by thanking Amber Benson for bringing the character to life with such depth. I think that a large part of why Tara was so amazing was due to the skill and talent of the actress who played her. Good luck to Amber in the future. Bright Blessings.

Comment: The love Willow and Tara shared has effected me deeply. They gave me hope. Tara gave me hope. I will always treasure the love story that was Willow and Tara's. Thank you Joss for having the guts to show a long term lesbian relationship. I cannot forgive you for killing Tara and ignoring her death, but you still gave her to us, if even for a brief shining moment. Thank you so much to Amber Benson for portraying the character the way you did...I think your skill & talent was a major part of why Ta

Comment: I can't belive its been a year since 'Seeing Red'. And even more, I can't belive that it's taken me this long to finally accept that the character of Tara Maclay will not be coming back on screen. Her death shocked and depressed me, it was unnecessary and crule. Thank goodness for talented fanfic writers who have corrected the glaring mistake that was killing her off. Without them I don't think I could 'deal'

Comment: Tara is the most wonderful character in Buffyverse and it is a shame that such a gentle and loving soul was written off in a manner that break the hearts of many.
Willow and Tara's love transcends death. Tara will always and forever be Will's Everything. Tara LIVES in Willow's heart as well as in ours.
Tara, we LOVE & MISS U very much! You gave us a reason to believe in true love.

Jen
PS, Thanks for such a touching tribute page. Thanks to Amber Benson and Alyson Hannigan

Comment: Tara, you are truly missed. Thank you to Amber Benson for bringing her to life to those of us who truly understood and valued her. Joss Whedon, you could have fixed it but you didn't want to. Too bad. All I know is I believe in karma and it sure seems to be working.

Comment: Tara broke the mold for young female TV characters. Although shy, quiet & unassuming, she was nonetheless valued for being wise, perceptive and compassionate. Such depth, such contradiction. She gave hope to all other square (and triangle) pegs that, sometime, somewhere, they too would be appreciated and well-loved.

Tara, still loved, ever missed.
